The official transcript documents produced by Parchment Transcript Services are official documents and contain all pertinent course information as recorded by Kennesaw State University.

It is not the practice of the Office of the Registrar to release a partial (mid-term grades) record prior to end of term processing.

If you are/were a KSU or were an SPSU undergrad student and are applying to KSU’s Graduate School, youDO NOTneed to send a transcript. The Graduate School will be able to review your records without an official transcript.

Owl Express remains active for one year from the student’s last semester of enrollment. You will not be able to login to your Owl Express after that time; however, If you need to look up your NetID to start your order, please visithttp://uits.kennesaw.edu/support/netid.php.

Associate Degree You Deserve Transcript Requests

The Associate Degree you Deserve (ADD) Program is a USG initiative to assist students that have transferred from an associate degree-seeking institution to a bachelor’s degree-seeking institution and may be eligible to be awarded an associate degree. Transcripts requested through this program are FREE! Having an associate degree can increase your earning power and make you eligible for more jobs while you work on your bachelor’s degree. To be eligible for the program students must:

  • Currently be working toward a bachelor’s degree at KSU;
  • Transferred from a USG associate degree-granting institution;
  • Earned at least 15 credit hours at the associate degree institution;
  • Accumulated at least 60 credit hours total between KSU and your associate degree institution;
  • And have a GPA of at least a 2.00
  • Things you willNOThave to do:
  • You will not have to take additional coursework at your associate degree institution.
    You will not lose any of the credits you have earned at KSU.

Things you will have to do:

  • Consent to have your transcript from KSU sent to your associate degree institution so that they can evaluate whether you have met their requirements for an associate degree.
  • Indicate that you want to be awarded the associate degree if you have met the requirements.
  • Agree that your associate degree institution can notify KSU if you receive an associate degree so that we can update our records.

What to do if your transcript is wrong? ›

Contact your college's registrar. That's the office responsible for keeping all of your academic records. If it's a grade in a specific class, you should contact the instructor first. If you still think there is a mistake, go to the department chair, then the dean.

Can you get a transcript if you didn't graduate? ›

If a student has dropped out of high school and didn't receive a diploma, they can still get a copy of their transcript. Their transcript will have the courses they completed and it will state that they did not graduate. Another option would be to purchase a fake diploma and fake high school transcript.

What if I can't get my college transcript? ›

If your school still withholds your official transcript, submit a student loan complaint to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. You can also request an unofficial transcript; the school must provide you with one, and it might satisfy the requirements of an employer or another college you're applying to.

How long does it take to send transcripts electronically to Parchment? ›

Parchment sends transcripts to receiving institutions when schools approve the order and upload the transcript records to Parchment. Parchment notifies the student, via email, as soon as the school has made the student's records available to Parchment. Parchment sends the electronic transcript immediately.

Can you fix your transcript? ›

Parents and students tend to assume that the bad grade will be completely removed from the student's transcript, but this may not be the case. Some colleges will amend the bad grade or class with a kind of notation, while others will keep both grades on the record.

Can grades on an official transcript be changed? ›

Grades reported by the professor are generally considered permanent and final. However, there are circumstances in which a change of grade may be requested. Typical reasons are: to correct clerical or procedural errors.

Falsifying and fraudulent use of school documents

It's also unlawful for anyone to use a falsified or altered diploma/transcript/GED with the intent to defraud or mislead another person. This offense is a misdemeanor, punishable by up to a year of jail time and $1,000 in fines.
